TRUCK DRIVER

Locations: Bothell, WA

Job Description/Job Duties: Minimum one year of experience in the operation of trucks used to transport temporary structures, equipment, materials, and supplies, as well as oil, petroleum, hazardous substances and hazardous wastes onto and off of a response site. Perform all types of trouble-shooting, repair, and equipment maintenance. Overtime and travel required.

Skills and Experience:

• Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required, and current 8-hour refresher preferred if available
• Current DOT Certification required
• Valid Class A or B CDL Driver's License required
• Must have familiarization and understanding of use and application of various types of respiratory protection and chemical hazards
• Experience performing duties related to the clean-up of hazardous waste sites; utilizing all types of personal protective equipment, have working knowledge of commonly used field equipment and gear
• Working knowledge of standard safety procedures dealing with hazardous materials
• High School diploma or equivalent

Do you have a valid Class A or B CDL license?

Do you have a current DOT card?

Are you able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold?

Are you capable of manual labor using shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.?

Are you able to lift and carry 25 lbs?

Do you have a current OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper and/or 8 hour refresher?

None; 1-2 yrs; 3-5 yrs; 5+

Do you have experience with operation of dump trucks, articulated dump trucks, water trucks, and tractors?

Are you able to work overtime (greater than 8 hours per day) including weekends and holidays?

Are you able to travel out of town for 1 to 2 months at a time?
