- Position Summary
- Two (2) temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant position in Agriculture.
- Days/Hours
- 5 hours per day intermittently. Most of the work will be done a few days before and during the StanFresh markets. The StanFresh markets for Spring 2024 are March 6th, April 10th and May 1st, 2024.
- Start Date
- Position available on or after March 11, 2024 and ending on or before May 31, 2024. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Duties include but are not limited to assisting the Agricultural Markets and Pricing class with the following: Harvesting, washing and packaging of produce from the sustainable garden for sale during the StanFresh market.
- Collaborating with garden specialist and class to coordinate harvesting, storage and delivery of produce for the StanFresh markets.
- Collaborate with administrative stuff and the class in coordinating administrative activities for StanFresh markets.
- Collaborate with Warrior Eats and the class to coordinate produce delivery and payment.
Other duties as assigned.

- Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates interest in agriculture.
- Demonstrates passion to work outdoors in the sustainable garden.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates the capacity to be self-motivated and demonstrates excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications:- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Salary Range
- $16.00 per hour.
