Staff Accountant

Revology Cars is hiring a Staff Accountant at the central Florida facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to apply generally accepted accounting principles and financial analysis to provide financial insight to guide business decisions.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Accountant at Revology Cars accurately and efficiently prepares financial statements, examines and analyzes the company's accounts, and ensures compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Generate the company's financial reports using income and expenditure data.
• Maintain visibility of the company's finances based on financial status.
• Reconcile the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Complete analyses of capital expenditures.
• Manage income and expenditure accounts.
• File and remit taxes and other financial obligations.
• Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
• Prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the CFO as required.
• Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the CFO in running audits.
• Manage the bookkeeping team.
• Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets to guide the company's financial planning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA designation is a plus.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• US GAAP and tax regulation experience.
• Proficient in the use of ERP systems. Knowledge of INFOR or SyteLine CSI a plus.
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.

PAY AND BENEFITS

• Salary range is $93,200 K-115,800k.
• 10% performance bonus.
