Bottom Line Concepts is actively seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with financial regulations.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Prepare and file various tax forms and reports, such as sales tax returns and annual tax filings.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.
Participate in the development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is a prerequisite.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting is essential.
Strong knowledge in accounting principles, practices, as well as financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Demonstrated proficiency in working with SAP ERP or NetSuite software or a similar ERP system as well as CRM systems.
Advanced level skills in Excel for data analysis.
Being familiar with commission payment and reconciling them.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information.
Aptitude for both independent work and effective collaboration within a team environment, showcasing outstanding organizational and time management capabilities.
Impeccable attention to detail, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
