Form of workExpress Employment Northland & Downtown is currently seeking to fill a Staff Accountant position in North Kansas City, MO near KCI Airport. Desirable candidates can work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, and are highly organized and hard-working.
Basic Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger.
Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements..
Process and review accounts payable invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the collection and recording of accounts receivable.
Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
Provide support for financial analysis and forecasting.
Various office duties as needed.
Requirements:
Strong in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
5+ years experince in Accounting required.
Quantum software experince a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
