**Director of Accounting: Billing and Contract Management**

**Location - Remote/In-Office Policy**
This position will be filled to work in a hybrid capacity and will require you to come to one of the following Catapult Solutions Group office locations up to 2 days a week: Allen, TX, Springfield, MO, or Monett, MO.

**Job Description**
The Director of Accounting: Billing and Contract Management will play a pivotal role in overseeing the accurate setup and execution of customer contracts and billing processes. This position will be responsible for leading a team that ensures the timely and precise invoicing of clients, while also driving continuous process improvements and leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiencies.
As a strategic leader, the Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, identify areas for optimization, and implement innovative solutions. This role will involve developing and implementing strategies to leverage technologies, streamline workflows, and foster effective communication and collaboration across various functional areas.
The successful candidate will be a transformative leader with a future-focused vision, capable of modernizing contract and billing processes while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop strategies for leveraging technologies, process efficiencies, communication, and collaboration across functional objectives to ensure accurate client Billing and proper revenue recognition.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Contract Processing and Quality Assurance/Control Team.
- Collaborate with business partners to improve operational efficiencies in contracting and billing.
- Partner cross-functionally to understand business processes and build workflows, validation tools, and billing analytics.
- Drive continuous business process improvement by designing and implementing technologies and consistently seeking to implement efficiencies in processes and procedures.
- Ensure high-quality performance management processes, documenting goals, addressing performance issues, and developing and challenging team members to exceed expectations.
- Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities for team members in various areas, including financial analysis, business products, supporting technologies, GAAP, and SOX.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
**Required Experience/Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional or educational experience in accounts receivable, contract entry, or billing.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in roles such as supervisor or staff manager.
- Prior experience leading an accounting team for a mid to large-cap company.
- Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 10% to attend meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
**Nice-to-Haves**
- MBA and/or CPA or other related professional certification.
- Knowledge of or experience with OneStream, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Ability to make recommendations to improve the efficiency of processes and procedures.
**Education**
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
**Pay & Benefits Summary**
- Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $135,000 per year
- 2% yearly performance bonus based on target achievement and company revenue
- Potential for a 10% yearly bonus at the Director level
