Capital Materials is seeking a Part-time Accounts Receivable Assistant to join the team! This position will work out of our Sedalia office supporting the Account Receivables department in various financial and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and assist customers and vendors in a professional manner.
- Greet visitors entering and leaving the office in a professional.
- Process accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying and classifying Accounts Receivables data.
- Reconcile the cash account to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a financial or accounting role.
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills- must.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Requires excellent organizational and time management skills.
