Part-Time Accounts Receivable Assistant

Capital Materials is seeking a Part-time Accounts Receivable Assistant to join the team! This position will work out of our Sedalia office supporting the Account Receivables department in various financial and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities

• Communicate and assist customers and vendors in a professional manner.
• Greet visitors entering and leaving the office in a professional.
• Process accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying and classifying Accounts Receivables data.
• Reconcile the cash account to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a financial or accounting role.
• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent computer skills- must.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Requires excellent organizational and time management skills.
