Job Description
Prepare complex tax returns and tax research for individual and business entities
Provide primary and secondary review of complex tax returns
Review tax information supplied by client; may meet with or call clients with questions
Prepare general ledger entries and appropriate reconciliations for month-end, quarterly and year-end closing for clients
Perform financial statement analysis
Prepare compilations for different types of business entities
Review tax work of less experienced staff
Work closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities
Develop reasonable time budgets and effectively monitor performance of staff
Train, mentor and provide work direction to staff and assist with recruiting and retention
Perform other essential duties as needed

5-7 years of experience in Public Accounting
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of staff
Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines. Occasional overtime is required throughout the year, and heavy overtime work is required from February 1 through April 15 (busy season) and may be in excess of 55 hours per week.

Familiarity with accounting software and programs, such as, Lacerte, CFS, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
Active CPA license preferred
