**This is initially a three month contract-to-hire opportunity**
About the Position:
We are seeking a seasoned and proficient Senior Salesforce Administrator to become an integral part of our team. This role is pivotal in configuring, supporting, and advancing our Salesforce Org, emphasizing expertise across Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud platforms.
This individual would be responsible for the configuration and ongoing support of our VMS applications, including architecting, implementing, and documenting Salesforce solutions for multiple areas of VMS, including data management and application development. They will develop Salesforce architecture and best practices for the entire organization while working closely with other departments to consistently use Salesforce standards.
The successful candidate must be resourceful, detail-oriented, self-directed, and passionate about understanding business operations and building technical solutions to address critical business objectives. You’ll provide direction and leadership to guide and prioritize work. You’ll also assist with scoping management, project prioritization, Salesforce system configuration, requirement gathering, and testing. You will work in a highly regulated industry with compliance, standardization, and efficiency at the forefront.
Note: you may also be required to work with other platforms and technologies besides Salesforce to succeed in this role (tools such as PureCloud, Conga, Azure, etc.).
Essential Functions:

Partner with business leadership and cross-functional leaders on initiatives such as data management, build requests, feature enhancement, reporting, and dashboard creation
Ensure Salesforce CRM adoption, ongoing user management, data management, application setup, and customization
Develop and maintain advanced Salesforce solutions, focusing on customizing and optimizing the Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud functionalities to align with business needs
Communicate technical information and business requirements clearly and concisely
Design, develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable, high-quality solutions, including resolving technical issues and mitigating technical debt
Analyze opportunities to optimize or automate processes to enhance the overall operational stability of the system
Collaborate with team members and internal customers to clarify requirements during sprint refinement sessions and build activities
Author detailed design documents, including technical and functional specifications
Act as a mentor to the team, fostering a culture that promotes technical growth and continuous innovation
Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems via Managed Packages and maintain business applications connected to Salesforce, such as Own Backup, FreshService, Conga
Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain documentation, and write/maintain test criteria for technical work
Design and architect custom applications, objects, and data models in Salesforce
Manage release processes and testing, including system and user acceptance testing to ensure application quality and stability
Operate in a deployment process that supports stability and a flexible release schedule
Plan and execute Salesforce releases and upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition for end-users
Maintain sandbox and production orgs in Salesforce.
Provide advice to the Product Team on new technologies beneficial for the firm and its clients
Assist the Product Team with training and support for end-users

Required Education and/or Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator in a similar environment
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- Experience with life sciences industry regulations. A bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology preferred
Required License and/or credential(s):
Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator (CSAA)
Required Skills:
Extensive expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting Salesforce applications, including CRM, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud; Genesys experience preferred
Exceptional communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Results-driven, self-motivated approach with an accountable business owner mentality
Proven track record in leading operational transformation and fostering adaptability in change management across multiple network groups
Skilled in ensuring optimal performance and integration of Salesforce systems
Proficient in managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
Demonstrated ability in facilitating and leading requirement gathering sessions
Experience in a Scrum environment with familiarity in Scrum methodologies
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Experience with data modeling and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL)
Proficiency in process modeling and development of test plans
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
CRM, Life Sciences, or Healthcare industry experience is beneficial

Working Conditions:
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
