We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator (Remote) who will collaborate with the implementation of Salesforce.com and its utilization across the organization. Working with the Salesforce.com Product Manager and other stakeholders, you will help push projects to implement end-to-end solutions for OPENLANE. You will be working in a highly collaborative team and be critical to responding to any questions or issues from users throughout the company, troubleshooting any technical and functional support issues, developing scripts, managing data loads, reviewing data quality, and providing guidance and training to other internal stakeholders on new features and functionality.

You Will:
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues across departments
  • (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Support, and Accounting) as well as training.
  • Review new release notes and technologies that would benefit our customers
  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): automation (flow), assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
  • Manage the declarative aspects of AppExchange products (eg. Upgrades and Licenses)
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features
  • Sandbox environment management
  • DevOps/release management experience
  • Working with Product Managers to identify and understand requirements from users and stakeholders, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to Product Managers, end-users, stakeholders, and trainers
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
  • User support tickets
  • Technical documentation

Must Have’s:
  • 7+ years of Salesforce.com Administration experience
  • Strong customer orientation (internal customers and end-user customers)
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across the organization and at all levels to drive results
  • Proven ability to take initiative, use consultative skills, and build strong, productive relationships.
  • Strong organization, presentation, and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
  • BS in Computer Science/IT/Engineering, or equivalent recommended.
  • Salesforce Administration Certification recommended
  • Marketing Cloud Experience preferred.
  • Retool experience is a plus.
