Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all warehouse activities, ensuring proper storage, inventory management, and timely distribution of goods. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations: Oversee all day-to-day operations in the warehouse, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet customer demands.
Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize orders and allocate resources accordingly.
Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all incoming and outgoing products meet the required standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify any quality or safety issues.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, orders, and warehouse activities. Generate reports on key performance indicators, such as productivity, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement. Implement innovative solutions to streamline warehouse operations and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a focus on coordination and inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in managing inventory and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to interact with internal teams, vendors, and customers professionally.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
