Responsibilities:
· Work as a primary contributor to an engineering team in the design, build, implementation, and testing of data center network switches, Cisco 9000 series
· Design and develop implementation of Cisco 9000 series switches in the Data Centers
· Develop switch implementation procedures and deploy them
· Identify and resolve network hardware and software dependencies associated with the replacement of network switches
· Comply with established Change and Configuration Management processes
· Travel to Jackson, MS and Little Rock, AR for the deployments
Requirements:
· 10+ years of experience in Network Engineering, installation, and configuration
· Must have experience designing the implementations of Cisco Nexus 9000 Data Center switches
· Must have extensive experience with VXLAN
· Knowledge of data networking principles and specific technologies that operate and manage high-speed WANs
· Knowledge of Layer 2 & 3 Switching protocols
· Expert IP routing and LAN switching skills
· Working knowledge on various Network operating systems
· Must have questioning attitude and an inclination to challenge designs and work instructions
· Must be able to work independently in a team environment
· Must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to demonstrate solid attention to detail and accuracy
