A Typical Day
- Work on new network technology projects
- Collaborate with team members with challenges or project related tasks
- Collaborate, innovate technical solutions with team members and partners
- Work directly with multiple telecom and network service providers
- Document design changes, process and policies as it relates to network communications and security
To Land This Opportunity
- You demonstrate passion for creating, designing, and implementing highly available network infrastructure.
- You have extensive experience with/Knowledge of - Panorama, Cisco WLCs, S2SVPN Tech, Cisco IOS/NXOS, OSPF, Wireshark, SDWAN, Ekahau
- You have 5 – 7 years of experience supporting an enterprise network in a high transactional or manufacturing environment
- You are comfortable with managing multiple priorities, projects and opportunities
- You obtained one of the following certifications: PCNSE, CCNP R&S/Wireless, CWNP, (or industry equivalents)
- You pay close attention to detail, as far as you’re concerned anything worth doing should be done right
- You love to work collaboratively with the team and share new concepts & ideas
- You have experience with maintaining and managing Microsoft protocols (DNS, WINS, DHCP, and NTP)
- You are fluent with advanced networking concepts and advance routing protocols and concepts (e.g. TCP/IP, CIDR, VOIP, BGP, VLANS, and OSPF)
- You are proficient with network monitoring software a plus, i.e. Netbrain, Logic monitor
- You enjoy large scale switching deployments, firewall deployments, site turn-up and travel, end to end packet troubleshooting, and NetFlow
- You like troubleshooting with the following: Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Routers, Palo Alto Firewalls, A10 Load Balancers, TCP/IP, and BGP/OSPF Protocols.
- Bonus points if you received a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- You’re an all-star communicator and are fluent in English (both written and verbal)
