Job Description
Senior network managers are information technology (IT) professionals who are responsible for installing and maintaining computer network systems for an organization. These managers are required to employ detection tools for network security to identify and counter vulnerabilities and intrusions on all wired and wireless network assets. They must install firewalls and anti-virus solutions to manage and ensure the effectiveness of the organization's security solutions. Senior network managers must also assist with setting up physical hardware while managing network servers to allow for necessary scheduling within specific timelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage mail servers, dial-up servers, make internic changes, DNS changes, maintain DNS severs.
- Service improvement plans aim at improving overall customer experience, reducing MTTR, streamlining process and achieving SLA objectives
- Manage a support group that maintain and monitor; hardware, OS, applications and all network relate equipment.
- Configure and install network routers and switches at local and remote FDA sites.
- Implement VOIP monitoring tools to monitor and troubleshoot system performance and produce actionable metrics.
Education
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
