Base Pay: $81,744.00 - $106,080.00 / yearJOB SUMMARYProvide high-level technical support and maintenance for SCHC network and servers to meet SCHC organizational needs and ensure efficient use of resources. Utilize available technology resources to plan, design and implement SCHC computerized information, health-related, and telephone systems. Perform duties as assigned related to all aspects of computerized systems operation. Management of the Information Technology Services Department during the absence of the IT Services Manager.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, plan, and implement server system installations, conversions, expansions, and upgrades to achieve efficient use of resources.
- Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software
- Provide technical direction to IT support staff
- Monitor and ensure constant availability of technical resources
- Recognize and evaluate areas for technological automation and efficiencies
- Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention
- Administer technical support for computer systems, health information systems, telecommunications, and video teleconferencing systems.
- Oversee the development, research, evaluation and recommendation of hardware and software to meet organizational needs.
- Research, evaluate and recommend technological procedures to meet organizational needs.
- Communicate with users to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technological-related problems.
- Prioritize workload to efficiently support SCHC operations.
- Advise and recommend on safe and ergonomic use of computerized systems.
- Interpret system reports on server logs, WAN and LAN traffic, and usage to analyze cost of data and make timely recommendations to Management.
- Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety
- Ensure backup systems are in place and functioning to ensure business continuity.
- Analyze system capacities to meet organizational needs and recommend timely changes to Management.
- Document software applications and recommend new applications where needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation and procedures.
- Research, evaluate industry best practices and apply to SCHC operations
- Promote a positive customer service profile.
- Mentor more junior level positions
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS environment for client and server software.
- Strong knowledge of server technologies. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Working knowledge of Cisco CLI and GUI for core networking functions.
- Working knowledge of Cisco switching infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of Cisco Telephony services including UC, UCCX, UCCM, and Finesse.
- Working knowledge of networking devices. Routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VoIP
- Strong knowledge of Dell hardware and software. Servers, workstations, SANs, switches. Including failover clustering configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex technical problems with team members and vendors quickly and effectively
- Knowledge of backup systems and procedures. Including both cloud and on-prem solutions to facilitate the timely recovery of mission-critical systems or data in accordance with the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure service platform with hybrid experience.
- Knowledge of application software including Microsoft office, Adobe, Citrix Receiver, etc.
- Knowledge of mobile device management. iOS, Android.
- Significant knowledge of virtualization technologies and concepts.
- Strong knowledge and ability to apply troubleshooting techniques for single- and multi-user systems. Including terminal services, remote desktop, and VDI.
- Strong knowledge of core technologies & protocols such as DNS, SMB, NTLM, SSL, SSH etc.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
- Ability to analyze user and network-related problems and implement solutions.
- Ability to read, interpret, and implement technical procedures.
- Effective use of communication skills with technical and non-technical staff.
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred, but not required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Cisco Certified in a relevant discipline.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. degree in computer science or related field with 10 years’ experience working with computer-related systems and deploying/managing Windows Servers.
- Experience automating or scripting languages such as Powershell, Javascript, and Python
- Experience with identity management and SSO integration
