About Us: At Supertots, we are dedicated to instilling a lifelong love of sports and teaching essential life skills through engaging and fun activities. Our early childhood sports programs cater to children aged 18 months to 6 years old. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with children and helping them reach their full potential. No prior Sports Coaching experience is necessary, as we provide a comprehensive curriculum to guide you. As a weekend coach, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on young athletes' lives while enjoying the flexibility of Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon hours.
Job Description: As a Weekend Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and nurturing environment for children to develop both physical and life skills. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and conducting engaging sports sessions for children aged 18 months to 6 years on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons.
- Implementing our curriculum to teach fundamental sports skills and concepts.
- Promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play among young athletes.
- Creating a safe and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and active learning.
- Maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm to keep children motivated and excited.
- Monitoring and ensuring the safety of all participants during weekend activities.
- Providing constructive feedback to children to help them improve and build confidence.
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress.
- Collaborating with other coaches and staff to continuously improve our weekend programs.
- Being a positive role model and mentor for young athletes.
Qualifications:
- A passion for working with children and helping them develop.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of silliness to engage young children effectively.
- Weekend availability, including Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual children.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one, if not already certified).
