The Title:

Sr Manager, IT Infrastructure
Cava is seeking a Sr Manager, IT Infrastructure responsible for managing our Tier II Support, Endpoint Engineering and Network Engineering functions. We are looking for a technical leader to drive initiatives that support the strategy and goals of the organization. You will play a key role in building both the team and the organizational capabilities necessary to ensure we have continuous improvement to CAVA’s Infrastructure Services. You must be versatile enough to manage both functional area support work and projects to ensure successful outcomes with a high degree of quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day to day activities for corporate support team including request/incident management and active projects Tier 2 support, Productivity, Network/Telephony, and Endpoint Management
  • Manage the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of hardware and software systems that support end user computing
  • Mentor and promote professional development opportunities for our corporate support team.
  • Create and maintain the strategic roadmap to support business goals and objectives
  • Drive standardization of products and services to meet business needs for availability, performance, and capacity
  • Establish KPIs, metrics, and reporting for support and projects
  • Ensure proper maintenance and patching is conducted
  • Ensure systems, services, and processes are well documented for all implemented solutions
  • Assist with Opex and Capex budgeting and vendor relationship management
  • Drive vendor management accountability to SLA’s and other contractual obligations to ensure the ongoing functioning of CAVA IT Infrastructure operations
  • Identify opportunities for longer term cost and licensing optimization
  • Partner with IT Security to ensure proper security controls are in place for access and communication on the CAVA network
  • Stay current with new tools, technology, and techniques to increase performance, automation, and scalability
  • Lead teams to accomplish priorities and initiatives with the impact for the guest in mind
  • Effectively communicate goals, priorities, and action items to direct reports; actively give feedback on progress updates
  • Conduct impactful and meaningful DE&I conversations within team and organization
  • Create opportunities for Team Members to grow in their roles and progress into higher roles in the organization
  • Execute effective decision-making skills to led team to succeed
  • Oversee innovative solutions proposed by direct reports
  • Maintain emotional stability in stressful situations; lead by example for how our team should handle adversity
  • Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset
  • Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly

The Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of success leading technology teams, technology projects, from strategic and tactical planning through implementation, analysis, and design for Tier 2, Network and Endpoint Teams
  • Served in a hands-on leadership role utilizing Backoffice tools including but not limited to Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, IDP/SSO integrations, and Endpoint Management (ex. Microsoft InTune or similar).
  • Experience in ITIL/Service Management a plus
  • Effective at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and driving results based on business value and what best serves the organization
  • Be a strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills to approach issues, determine the most appropriate urgency and course of action
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization including Senior Leadership and highly technical team members
  • Serve as an inspirational leader, who builds, leads, manages, and hires a highly effective team
  • Strong team player capable of collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities and capable of handling frequent interruptions positively
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail, planning and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to travel occasionally
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or related program preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
