WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
As the Senior Manager of Demand Planning, you will be responsible for leading and managing Sales Operations planning, ensuring accurate forecasting, production scheduling and inventory optimization for Bolthouse Fresh Foods products. This role will take start to finish ownership for logistic cycle of approximately 40 percent of the Bolthouse Fresh Foods carrot volume that passes our sister company Fresh Logistics. Your expertise in demand forecasting, data analysis, and strategic planning will be crucial in driving our company's growth and success. Position plays an integral role in providing information to cross functional teams to facilitate supply chain fulfillment of demand. This position’s primary responsibilities include customer and sku level forecasting and budgeting for Bolthouse Fresh Foods.
JOB DUTIES:
- Own and implement long term and short-term demand forecast.
- Lead the development and execution of Demand Planning strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensure product availability, and meet customer demands.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of BFF farming and production cycles that can be tied to accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Utilizes a deep understanding of customer behavior to properly forecast and clearly communicate the needs of the customer to all relevant team members.
- Develops and Maintains schedules for timely communication of information to all stakeholders using the appropriate communication method.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Farming and Supply Chain teams to gather insights, incorporate market intelligence, and align on Demand Planning objectives and priorities.
- Support business inventory and production strategies to meet organizational supply chain improvement opportunities.
- Manage forecast models, analyze trends, and maintain accurate data.
- Drive continuous improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and implement best practices and tools to streamline Demand Planning operations. Leverage data analytics and technology to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop metrics to measure forecast accuracy and related processes to work towards continuous improvement.
- Perform and/or direct day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Serves as the point person for sending and receiving organizational communication in regard to Demand Planning.
- Maintains and open line of communication with BFF sales network to better understand customer behavior/trends to develop proactive supply plans to service our customer’s needs.
- Stands in for the Director of SCM as needed for all supply planning functions.
