WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

As the Manager of Demand Planning, you will be responsible for leading and managing a segment of our S&OP Process, ensuring accurate forecasting, production scheduling and inventory optimization for Bolthouse Fresh Foods products. Your expertise in demand forecasting, data analysis, and strategic planning will be crucial in driving our company's growth and success. Position plays an integral role in providing information to cross functional teams to facilitate supply chain fulfillment of demand. This position’s primary responsibilities include customer and sku level forecasting and budgeting for Bolthouse Fresh Foods.

JOB DUTIES:

• Own and implement long term and short-term demand forecast.
• Lead the development and execution of Demand Planning strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensure product availability, and meet customer demands.
• Timely communication of information to all stakeholders using the appropriate communication method
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to gather insights, incorporate market intelligence, and align on Demand Planning objectives and priorities.
• Team leadership and development: Lead a team of demand planners, providing guidance, support, and mentoring. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Demand Planning team.
• Support business inventory and production strategies to meet organizational supply chain improvement opportunities.
• Manage forecast models, analyze trends, and maintain accurate data.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and implement best practices and tools to streamline Demand Planning operations. Leverage data analytics and technology to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop metrics to measure forecast accuracy and related processes to work towards continuous improvement.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Progressive experience in one or more of the following fields financial analysis, forecasting, inventory planning, statistics, accounting and/or business intelligence,
• Strong analytical skills: Proficiency in data analysis, statistical models, and forecasting techniques. Ability to work with large datasets, interpret complex information, and derive actionable insights.
• Strategic mindset: Proven ability to think strategically and align Demand Planning objectives with overall business goals. Experience in developing and executing Demand Planning strategies to support business growth.
• Collaboration and communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
• Leadership and team management: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Experience in leading and developing a team of demand planners.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the carrot industry, including its supply chain dynamics, market trends, and consumer preferences, is desirable.
• 5 to 7 years of industry specific experience
