The Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for leading the supply planning process and is the integration point between all supply chain, operations, marketing, sales, and cross functional business partners. The role will oversee master production schedules across a network of plants and partners focused on delivering to performance metrics of service, cost, and cash. This position will lead in coordinating, conducting, and contributing to the supply planning activities. As a demand planner, you will be responsible to:

• Drive a continuous improvement effort across all aspects of supply planning to ensure a robust, reliable, pro-active, and repeatable end to end process is in place
• Develop and maintain statistical demand forecast in planning software at multiple aggregation levels
• Manage item level forecast, life cycle planning and promotional opportunities
• Review sales trends and evaluate historic forecast performance by building Demand performance metrics and internal reporting
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
• Interact with commercial team to understand demand drivers' impact on customer demand
• Develop conclusions and make recommendations about forecast opportunities and risks to maximize business performance
• Implement tools and processes geared to effectively measure and monitor performance against service, cost, and cash metrics
• Manage supply planning activities involved with manufacturing, supply and demand alignment, and S&OP process
• Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPI's) on a regular basis against budget and/or performance targets
• Coach, motivate, and develop the plant coordinators to deliver accurate, aligned, and timely master schedules to support Operations, Procurement, and Logistics
• Develop strong partnerships with key internal customers including Operations, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Finance
• Interface with plants and co-manufacturers to drive daily actions as needed to predict service issues and take corrective action in advance
• Report and provide weekly updates on shipment to plan pacing
• Participate and approve new product introductions, promotions, and manage large demand changes or supply interruptions

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline or equivalent OJT working experience
• 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.
• Successful track record of utilizing problem solving methods to continuously improve quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong interpersonal skills along with a high level of tactical leadership abilities
• Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving skills using structured methods
• Proficiency in MS Office Suites and experience
• Knowledge and experience in SAP is a MUST
• Proven abilities to successfully drive continuous improvement and manage multiple priorities and tasks 
• Ability to travel up to 20%           

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

• Experience in Power BI
• Relevant certification in APICS, ISM or equivalent 
• Leadership training or work experience that demonstrates leadership capability in cross-functional teams
