The Sr. Coordinator, Global Ministry Development position exists to support the Sr. Director of Global Ministry Development and the Global Ministry Development team (GMD). The position provides coordinator-level support for the Sr. Director of Global Ministry Development and team by coordinating activities for the department including special projects, measures, training, process and procedure development and event planning and execution.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Supports Sr. Director of Global in all administrative duties (travel, correspondence, meeting planning, hospitality, etc.)
Coordinates communications with global leaders and partners; Coordinates & maintains an up-to-date database of ministry partners and key leaders and organizations
Plans and coordinates communication with global office partners, Focus US team and international constituents
Maintains Associate Office Director and Board of Director Directory
Works closely with Sr. Director of Global to help coordinate the annual International Director's Conference, semi-annual Regional Directors Conferences, and VIP events such as Partner meetings, Network forums, and constituent-facing events. Planning duties include but are not limited to:

  • Communication with Participants
  • Invitation Letters for Visas
  • Hotel Reservations
  • Transportation Logistics (including Airport Pickups \ Groome Transportation)
  • Data Collection
  • Purchasing Swag
  • Meal Venue Reservations
  • Conference Room Reservations
  • Gift Baskets
  • Ministry-wide Devo Scheduling
  • A/V Support
  • Budgeting

Supports Sr. Director as a point of contact for other FOF departments, including Creative Services, Broadcasting, Marketing/Digital Marketing, Events, and Guest Relations
Supports GMD staff and coordinates product and program development as directed by Sr. Director (local, national, and international)
Supports GMD staff in development of marketing materials when required
Works with other Global Ministry staff to prepare and maintain budget related to US Global Ministry and oversees purchasing, CEC, expense reports and other financial needs
Works with other Global Ministry staff to establish and maintain vendor relationship in the US and across the globe
Performs complex administrative tasks necessary to support general office functions, including development of schedules/timelines in support of department and FOF deadlines; preparation of internal/external correspondence, forms, and reports; utilization of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
Pro-actively communicates project plans, impact reports, and plan details to management and relevant ministry areas
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:
  • Office environment
  • May be required to work occasional weekends and overtime, Occasional travel within the continental United States
  • This role may require occasional travel including nights and weekends

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Liberal Arts
  • 2-4 years of experience in business, or ministry programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software
  • In-depth knowledge of Focus philosophy, mission, values, and objectives
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the budget and budgeting process

  • Excellent communication skills (listening, written, and verbal)
  • Exhibits clarity of expression, good organization of thoughts and effective articulation
  • Ability to maintain a sense of humor under pressure and when confronted with shifting priorities

Stewardship Requirements:
  • Involved in purchasing and vendor relationships

Pay Range: $20.00 to $23.00/hr
