The Business Development Coordinator will play a key role in contributing to the growth and development of OSIS by assisting the Sr. Director of Business Development and Member Relations with ongoing projects. The Business Development Coordinator will also assist the overall OSIS Team by participating in other projects as time allows.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Use analytics techniques to gather data – social media, websites, databases.
- Assist in the execution, organization, and planning of various activities of the organization, like client/prospect receptions, conferences, and seminars.
- Collaborate with Marketing to produce literature to extend our presence in the market.
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
- Collaborate with other members of staff towards better execution of the company’s plans and Business Development activities.
- Aid in developing and maintaining relationships with 3rd party vendors and business partners.
- Support Sr. Director of Business Development and Member Relations in organizing and completing various projects, including contract review and writing RFP/RFI
- Utilize automation and CRM to streamline reporting processes and build strong and diversified sales opportunities.
- Ensure proper execution of new business initiatives.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to keep the Business Development Department in the know.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL:
This position requires less than 20% travel.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA or BS in Business, Communication, or Finance
- 4+ years of experience in a sales position
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and HubSpot
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the healthcare-related field
- Experience working with non-profits.
