Job Requirements
Minimum Education
- BS/ BA Degree in Business or Accounting required
Minimum Work Experience
- Four to six years of experience in Healthcare Finance necessary along with third party reimbursement required.
- Prior supervisory experience along with demonstrated progressive roles required
Required Skills
- Computer experience in Meditech and Microsoft Office strongly preferred
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet the changing needs of internal/external customers required.
Functional Demands
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Frequently reaches (extending hands and arms in any direction), and handles (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or working with hands).
Essential Funcations
- Calculate monthly contractual analysis and reserves for multi-corporations including actual-budget variance analysis.
- Responsible for modeling governmental and contract payers for payment compliance and impact of regulatory changes.
- Work collaboratively with Reimbursement team in budgeting and forecasting net revenue with an emphasis on public payers.
- Assist in timely response of audit request: Financial and Third Party Payers
- Review month-end work prepared by Financial Analyst serving as an entity lead and resource.
- Perform financial analysis related to hospital reimbursement to support functions of multi-corporations.
- Perform audits of reimbursement of third-party payers working collaboratively with the Reimbursement Manager and the Financial Analyst.
- Other Analytical projects as assigned by the Reimbursement Manager
