Job Description
Edelman Financial Engines seeks a Senior Analyst to join our Workplace CFO team. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide dedicated analytical and strategy support for our Workplace channel. This position will report into the Manager of Sponsor Analytics.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide distribution teams with pricing strategy and solutions to improve profitability and drive revenue growth.
- Partner with business unit leaders to identify opportunities and provide analytics necessary to run and optimize the business.
- Develop repeatable reporting to help leaders better understand performance and areas of opportunity.
- Assist in the development of goals, key performance indicators, and the ongoing tracking of progress against goals.
- Leverage analytics and the art of story-telling to frame situations in clear and concise documents that provoke discussion and drive action.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in financial services, including 4+ years in one of the following areas: customer or business analytics, pricing analysis, corporate strategy, FP&A, management consulting
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, MIS or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with practical experience in financial or statistical modelling and quantitative analysis of large datasets.
- Proficient with MS Excel and significant experience with large data sets and supporting tools, e.g. Salesforce Reporting/Dashboards, SQL, and/or Tableau.
- Passion for driving progress while combining both creative and critical thinking skills to solve complex, loosely defined problems.
- Robust sense of intellectual curiosity and tenacity to experiment.
- Ability to boil complex business challenges down to brief overview documents with digestible and actionable business plans.
- Proven ability to develop relationships and influence decision making in a complex environment.
