Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is hiring for a Sr Director, Global Commercial Strategy, Oncology Precision Medicinein Global Commercial Data Science (GCDS) within the Global Commercial Strategy Organization. The position is based in Raritan, NJ and will require up to 25% travel.

The Sr DirectorGlobal CommercialPrecision Medicine will be responsible for supporting and leading the Global Precision Medicine Strategy across all of the Disease Area Strategy Groups in the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO).
This Sr Director will work closely with key leaders across various organizations within J&J including, but not limited to, J&J Innovative Medicine R&D, Business Development, Regulatory, J&J Innovative Medicine Global Commercial Teams, J&J Innovative Medicine Regional Teams and Health Technology.
This Sr Director will lead strategies for companion and complementary diagnostics (Co Dx) for Oncology Therapeutic Areas (TA's), all stages of commercialization (project evaluation, commercialization, launch planning) and all Global markets; Areas of responsibility include:
• Providing overall leadership and direction to direct report team
• Leading development and execution of companion and complementary diagnostics strategy across Janssen and ensure integration with TA and DAS strategies
• Creating and lead Co Dx process development, governance, and oversight
• Leading cross TA strategies and non-project strategies for Co Dx
• Developing and implement consistent processes and models for identifying and evaluating Co Dx opportunities
• Developing and implement consistent processes for identifying, assessing and selecting Co Dx Development and commercialization partners
• Responsible Commercial partner management, including representation on Joint Steering Committees
• Developing and implement launch readiness framework to ensure consistent and comprehensive Co Dx launch plans
• Providing Co Dx commercial assessments for licensing, BD, and white space opportunities
• Working with internal stakeholders, ensure development of regional and local capabilities and processes to successfully launch Co Dx projects
• Act as key interface with Global Commercial Strategy Leadership, Regional and operating Company commercial leadership and R&D; Establish partnerships with key Janssen stakeholders across the globe to foster the understanding of Co Dx and ensure development of required capabilities for short and long term success
In addition, directly or through the team the Senior Director will:
• Lead commercial assessment and recommendations for specific diagnostic opportunities
• Ensure Commercial input to shape system and assay design requirements, commercial support requirements, development strategy and regulatory strategy for Co Dx projects
• Develop and ensure execution Co Dx Commercial strategy ensuring alignment between Co Dx partner and Rx brand strategy for Co dx projects in full development
• Develop and implement Global Launch plans for Co Dx projects in full development, including trademark and branding, positioning, messaging, go to market (selling) strategies, market develop plans, and customer support plans
• Provide commercial leadership on project teams; obtain endorsement and resources as necessary
• Establish partnerships with key Janssen stakeholders across the globe, to ensure alignment of strategies and plans for specific Co Dx opportunities
• Direct the development of the short and long term plan & budget to support Co Diagnostic projects
• Lead life cycle management and global issues management for in-market Co Dx opportunities
Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree is required; Advanced degree (i.e., bachelor's degree with MBA or other type of master's degree is desired).
• A minimum of 12 years of professional experience is required,
• Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams is required.
• Experience leading projects or partnerships with R&D and/or Global Markets with a clear track record of success is preferred
• Previous Diagnostics/Precision Medicine experience with is required
• Proven leadership and management of large, complex projects. Ability to thrive in matrix organization to drive projects to conclusion.
• Able to handle complex tasks independently yet knows when to seek guidance.
• Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset required.
• Experience in Digital technologies or Data Science is a plus
• Track record of successfully handling multiple priorities and working independently.
• Actively prioritizes the personal and professional development of team members required to support diverse talent needs
• Creates an environment where others feel comfortable in identifying new ways of working, taking bold action with sense of urgency, and celebrates and rewards those who take calculated risks, learn from mistakes, and make informed decisions that support a progressive learning culture that pushes boundaries, learns from mistakes, and drives decisive action

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Position requires domestic and international travel as needed.
Travel:
Approximately 25% travel required; some international travel required.
Salary:
The base pay range for this position is $163,000 - $282,900 per year
Bonus:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
