Responsible for analyzing, proposing, implementing, and maintaining competitive, cost effective and legally compliant compensation programs. Serves as the trusted advisor for job design, classification of positions, development of compensation and total reward proposals and the application of salary administration guidelines and regulatory requirements. Represents the Total Rewards team by promoting Novant Health's Compensation philosophy and HR vision. The Compensation Analyst is a compensation subject matter expert that develops and delivers strategic compensation solutions (programs, policies, processes and practices) that meets the needs of Novant Health.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five plus years of Compensation experience required.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Human Resources Certification preferred.
- Additional Skills Required: Ability to create financial models and provide data analysis for forecasting. Excellent organization and execution skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment. Able to routinely take initiative to identify issues and solve problems; thoroughly analyze information and make timely, practical decisions and recommendations. Detail oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Demonstrate ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
