Sr. Accountant

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will assist in the oveall accounting operations of our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and a passion for accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities:

- Complete financial, general ledger and reulatory reporting

- Perform accounts payable duties

- Assist Controller and CFO in developing, implementing adn controlling the company's budetary control funcitons

- Assist with general accounting functions

- Assist Controller and CFO with various compliance monitoring and internal audit assistance

- Act as a back-up for Accountants

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and 5 years of work experience

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Prior banking experience preferred

- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.31 - $38.51 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
