Senior Accountant

*Job Description:*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, be highly organized, and possess excellent analytical skills. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
* Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
* Perform accruals and ensure expenses are recorded in the appropriate accounting period.
* Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
* Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
* Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transactions are properly recorded.
* Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* CPA certification is preferred.
* Years of experience in accounting or related field.
* Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
