Position Summary:
This position serves as the Deputy General Counsel (Attorney Supervisor) serving as a supervisor providing daily administration, direction and oversight of staff in the office. The position represents or coordinates representation of the Commission before all levels of State and Federal Courts and administrative tribunals on all agency matters.
As the Deputy, duties are to assist the Commissioners Office and Chief Legal Counsel with planning, operations, and staffing of the functions and responsibilities of the Office of General Counsel. Position assumes the role of leader, coach, facilitator and supporter of quality management and encourages ongoing evaluation and improvement of processes and teamwork in the execution of efficient and effective regulation. This position acts on behalf of the Chief Legal Counsel position in his/her absence.
