Position Summary:
Support New ModelEngine Quality Control department goals and objectives by coordinating timelines in conjunction with Production Control, Engine Production,
& General Assembly, testing and evaluating trial engines and parts related to the assigned systems in an automotive manufacturing environment. Complete issue
investigations and provide feedback for engine design improvements and released Engineering Orders.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate and track Engineering Order and Model Change testing activities with related departments.
- Participate in benchmark activities of competitor vehicles.
- Gather data, test, and monitor new projects in the prototype stage.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance on evaluating new technology at each stage of the New Model process.
- Conduct key Engineering Order trials, testing, and investigating activities.
- Participate in issue investigation and develop recommended countermeasures.
- Create and present evaluation activity reports.
- Set-up timelines for New Model engine launches collaborating with Parts Development, Production Control, and the Production division.
- Attend required meetings.
- Provide bilingual services including written translations (including daily, weekly, monthly reports) and interactive translation for verbal conversations (meetings, VIP support); review finished materials for completeness, accuracy, format, and appropriate English or Korean language usage.
- Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Education
Bachelor’s degree desired
Related Experience
- 0 – 10 years of job related experience desired
- Manufacturing related experience in an engineering discipline preferred
- Experience in Powertrain systems

Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call
