Special Education Teacher (SPED) Contract Job Full Time

Special Education Teacher Location: Oroville, CA Type: Full-time, 23/24 school year Partner: Blazerworks

Job Description: Blazerworks is currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 23/24 school year in Oroville, CA. As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide instruction and support to students with disabilities in a variety of settings, including resource rooms, inclusion classrooms, and self-contained classrooms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in a variety of settings
• Collaborate with general Education Teachers and other school personnel to support student success
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student services and progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and other school-based meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
• California state certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred
• Strong instructional and behavior management skills
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school personnel and families
