The Social Media Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and enhancing our brand reputation. Will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing compelling content across our Social Media channels to engage with our target audience, drive traffic, and ultimately increase conversions.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Social Media trends, management, and analytic reporting. Will require excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a creative flair for content creation, and strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail. Will also need to be proficient in utilizing and leveraging LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo, Canva, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or similar field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Travel: 5%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. This position is hybrid, in the office Wednesday and Thursday each week in Menasha, WI.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops and executes a content strategy for various Social Media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Creates organic, visually appealing, and engaging content.
  • Monitors and actively engages with our Social Media community. Responds to comments, messages, and mentions promptly, fostering positive interactions and managing any inquiries or concerns effectively.
  • Ensures brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in all Social Media content and interactions.
  • Stays up to date with the latest Social Media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Conducts audience research to understand our target demographics better and tailor content accordingly. Researches and applies keywords, hashtags, etc.
  • Sets up, monitors, maintains, and optimizes ads (Social Media platforms and Google), collaborates with team to provide recommendations on spend and targeting.
  • Uploads videos to YouTube and Vimeo, while incorporating SEO best practices (i.e., titles, descriptions, thumbnails, etc.).
  • Maintains Social Media content calendars.
  • Supports leadership in updating LinkedIn profiles.
  • Monitors and adjusts the social listening tool to provide insights to support decision making.
  • Utilizes Social Media analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of Social Media content, campaigns, and our websites. Provides regular reports with actionable insights to improve our overall digital strategy.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Communications team to align Social Media efforts with overall marketing goals. Coordinates with design team, content team, marketing communication managers, and our third-party web partner to create cohesive and effective content.
