Opportunity
The Social Media, Sr. Communication Specialist, is responsible for defining, driving, and improving the overall Social Media strategy for the business unit Power Systems. She or he acts as the voice and moderator of the brand through community management, content creation, and digital engagement to build a strong interaction 24/7. The Sr. Communication Specialist, Social Media seeds content and discussions in our community and keeps them active and valuable to key audiences. He or she owns it with passion and pride, and is energized by high-growth challenges, in a multicultural and cross-border environment.
Specific Responsibilities
Social Media Strategies and Governance
- Set a strategy and target audience for Social Media, focusing first on LinkedIn.
- Lead a Social Media committee with both internal and external stakeholders to talk strategy and content, for alignment and consistency.
- Liaise with the corporate team for leveraging content but also help to promote Power Systems content on other channels.
- Make sure Social Media are part of Power Systems digital ecosystem to drive traffic to the websites and landing pages.
- Liaise with the team and agencies for paid social campaigns.
- Provide a report with analytics and recommendations. Assure one set of metrics that everyone can understand and compare to see the evolution.
- Identify industry influencers, research their channels and behavior, and build a strategy around how to engage them further.
- Explore new Social Media to reach & attract younger generations and modernize Power Systems perception.
Content
- Define the editorial policy and the content calendar, for each channel, supporting our business goals.
- Overseeing all content initiatives to ensure brand consistency, audience engagement, and a positive customer experience are the number one priority.
- Create new visuals and creative assets for Social Media.
- Coordinate, approve and publish content on one Social Media management platform like Sprinklr or Hootsuite.
- Community Management
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to align our community efforts.
- Produce Social Media packages for employees and distributors.
- Create best practices for leadership team and develop a “Persona Program” (utilization of executive’s LI profile to amplify company news, engage with influencers)
- Organize a sales social training – to extend network reach and increase engagement.
- Review and respond to comments, mentions left on Social Media, engage with our audience, such as customers, partners, and influencers.
- Be reactive to unplanned news (breaking news, customers/influencers’ mention…)
- Social listening – Monitor what is being said online about Power Systems.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing / Social Media.
- Proficient with copywriting and content creation
- Positive, high-energy collaborator, cross-functional team capacity.
- Benefit from a blend of creativity and management skills to devise strategies, manage projects, write briefs, and collaborate with content creators.
- Fluent in English (native speaker).
- Travel up to 25% to attend priority meetings, industry tradeshows, and various Kohler-side offices/facilities.

The salary range for this position is $55,400 - $69,250. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
