Social Media Manager

As Bodega Taqueria y Tequila continues to expand nationally, we are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our corporate team located in Miami Beach, Florida. Come be apart of an incredible growing company!

Offering traditionally inspired Mexican favorites as well as unconventional and innovative interpretations, Bodega specializes in tacos and tequila in a dynamic, eclectic "puebla" inspired setting. Disguised behind a meat locker door, the no-name speakeasy behind Bodega comes alive at night, serving up Miami's best tequila and cocktails in an environment that brings the fabric of the community together - artists and musicians, locals and travelers alike - for late night conversation, performances and fun.

Who you are:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead and oversee our SOCIAL MEDIA platforms and brand communication channels. The ideal candidate will be skilled and versatile content-expert and who will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and assisting in maintaining the Bodega Taqueria y Tequila brand channels. This role will act as an expert on all areas of SOCIAL MEDIA management, content creation, advertising, trends, and industry updates.

What you'll do with us:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's brand voice, values, and marketing goals.
• Create engaging and visually appealing content, including images, videos, and written copy, to drive brand awareness and audience engagement.
• Organize and coordinate campaign photoshoots with photographers and the Operations teams. 
• Manage and oversee all SOCIAL MEDIA accounts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to optimize SOCIAL MEDIA performance and achieve business objectives.
• Maintain a proactive and responsive approach to SOCIAL MEDIA interactions, promptly addressing comments, messages, and mentions.
• Foster positive online conversations by engaging with the audience in a timely and professional manner.
• Leading meetings regarding SOCIAL MEDIA, reviewing analytics and upcoming content proposals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing teams, creative teams, and other relevant departments, to ensure seamless communication and coordination
• Implement and uphold brand guidelines, ensuring all content aligns with the company's vision and values.
• Possesses deep understanding of social platforms and algorithms that affect day-to-day publishing and content strategy
• Fluency in all SOCIAL MEDIA platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn Twitter and TikTok as well as fluency in various supporting social software programs
• Review and advise on food & beverage photoshoot shot lists, mood boards, and general creative directions. 
• Capture and curate content that can be used across different media verticals using an iPhone (i.e. Social, Web, Print, App Etc.)
• Oversee and create engaging on-site live coverage from restaurant events and activations

What we'll need from you:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, with a track record of successful content creation and account management. Experience as a Social Media leader in hospitality or food & beverage is strongly preferred. 
• In-depth knowledge of SOCIAL MEDIA platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and innovate.

Working Conditions disclaimer: This role is onsite, Monday through Friday at our corporate office in Miami Beach with routine expectations to travel to our properties located throughout South Florida and other operating markets.
