Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Content Creator & Community Engagement Specialist on a contract/as-needed basis. This role is integral to our marketing and community outreach efforts, as it involves crafting compelling content, building relationships with stakeholders, and contributing to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and original content for various Social Media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with our brand identity and objectives.
- Manage and moderate online communities, fostering meaningful interactions and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Build and nurture relationships with vendors, businesses, and community members to support our initiatives and partnerships.
- Assist with onboarding new projects, providing valuable insights and creative solutions from a Social Media perspective.
- Monitor Social Media trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to inform content creation and strategy adjustments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Social Media management, content creation, and community engagement, preferably in a related industry.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Social Media insights) to track performance and optimize strategies.
