Segway is looking for an experienced and high-energy Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team. This role will report to the Head of Marketing. The primary function of this role is to lead all Social Media efforts and establish/maintain an engaging presence with our online audiences. This role will also serve as a brand champion, ensuring the brand’s voice and vision is executed properly in all our marketing efforts. Primary duties include developing and implementing informed content strategies tailored to the strengths of various Social Media platforms to increase Segway’s brand awareness and affinity.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for executing across all Social Media channels from a global perspective and US business. Key responsibilities include managing the content calendar, developing strategies for campaigns as well as organic activations, measuring success by regularly analyzing KPI metrics, and building brand affinity.

Responsibilities
- Knows the art and science of Social Media – You know how to build a presence across different platforms and drive our business.
- Manage and lead the social team to set and execute vision, strategy, and best practices to drive growth, engagement across all platforms.
- Analyze social data, prepare monthly reports and insights, and optimize strategy based on results
- Manage the social calendar and ensuring it is aligned with GTM strategy and timeline.
- Lead community management – responding to comments and questions received on Social Media accounts. Confidently fend off requests asking for a free gokart.
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
Requirements – To quality you must:
- Have min. 5 years of relevant experience
- Have excellent time management skills
- Possess excellent copywriting skills
- Possess insanely strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have light experience with graphic design, photo editing, photography, and video editing
- Have a fast-paced work ethic and can-do attitude
Preferred Qualifications – a plus but not required
- Content marketing and writing experience in a distinctive brand voice
- Experience working with global companies
- Fluent in Spanish, Mandarin, and/or French
- Background in micromobility, EV, e-bikes
- Familiarity with Sprouts Social
