Evening or weekends up to 25% of the time (same with travel)
JOB SUMMARY
The PGS Social Media & Creative Coordinator creates engaging content and visually stunning designs to meet a variety of marketing needs, including video content. This role embodies the voice and tone of SNU, aligning with the Nazarene Church's vision and values. This position is responsible for managing the SNU PGS Social Media accounts and understands Social Media metrics and reporting. Utilizing a variety of analytics tools such as SEMrush and HubSpot, this position will assist with quarterly reports, giving data driven credibility to the department. Additionally, this position takes photos and videos at events and as needed 3-4 times per month on average and will work closely with the Outreach Coordinator to complete this task.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
- Social Media Management (50% of job)
- Manage the Social Media accounts of SNU PGS with HubSpot API using established creative guidelines. (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Develop and assist with secondary Social Media accounts.
- Monitor Social Media accounts and public interactions.
- Assist with Social Media paid advertising campaigns.
- Assist with content strategy, Gap analysis, traffic analysis, and monthly reporting.
- Digital Design (25% of job)
- Develop campaign-driven assets - like CTAs, Billboards, Mailers, and Print Ads
- Assist with managing freelance help with larger projects.
- Design/update flyers/brochures/banners as needed and coordinate with the campus print shop and local vendors for production/pick up as needed.
- Use of tools like Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
- Photo/Video capture at events/outreach with editing (25% of job)
- Capture photos and video of PGS events 3-4 times monthly on average.
- Select/edit photos and videos for use on Social Media platforms and in digital/print media.
- Use of tools like Adobe Creative Cloud
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- High school graduate
- Minimum of two years of related work experience and/or relevant training
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands in fast paced work environment.
- Typing and spelling competency
- Experience with various computer software applications.
- Data entry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in higher education
Supervision Received:
Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.
Supervision Exercised:
May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees.
