We are currently searching for a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Content Developer with a strong background in SEO to join our Marketing team at PGW Auto Glass. As a Social Media Content Developer, you will play a vital role in expanding our online presence and driving revenue growth by creating compelling content for Social Media posts, attracting potential customers to our website and Social Media platforms, and optimizing sales processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Content Development & Content Strategy:
- Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for a variety of marketing & Social Media channels, including websites, Social Media, email campaigns, blogs, and printed materials. Content may be digital graphics, articles, infographics, promo items, etc.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with PGW's brand voice, values, and marketing goals.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and tone across all platforms.
- Conduct audience research to understand our target audience's needs, pain points, and preferences. Use audience insights to tailor content for different media demographics and personas.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to create multiMedia Content that enhances our messaging.
- Content Organization and Scheduling:
- Utilizing Hootsuite to plan content around key events, promotions, and campaigns.
- Utilizing Design Software for professional polished designs.
- Proofreading and editing:
- Responsibilities include helping with proofreading and editing of content to both digital and print marketing materials.
- Product Knowledge and Expertise:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations and insights to clients.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Highlight SEO performance key insights and recommend actionable strategies.
- Search Engine Optimization & Writing
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic to our online properties. Stay current with SEO best practices and trends.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify valuable opportunities for organic traffic growth.
- Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms.
- Stay current with industry trends, search algorithm updates, and emerging SEO techniques.
- Ensure SEO optimization with all content produced.
- Contribute to the development of overall marketing strategies, providing insights based on SEO data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field is preferred but not required with experience.
- Proven experience as a content creator or content specialist
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, Social Media management tools, and email marketing platforms.
- Understanding of SEO principles, best practices, knowledge, and experience implementing.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
