We are seeking a talented and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team at PriceLabs, a leading B2B SaaS company. As an SRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our software platform, which is the backbone of our operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, and customer support, to enhance our infrastructure and maintain a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities:
- System Reliability: Monitor and maintain the reliability of our software platform, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Automation and Scalability: Design, implement, and manage automated systems and processes to scale our infrastructure and support the growth of our customer base.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage on-prem infrastructure (cloud provider: Digital Ocean), ensuring proper provisioning, configuration, and optimization for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Incident Response: Lead incident response and post-incident analysis, collaborating with engineering teams to identify root causes and implementing preventive measures to avoid future incidents.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as performance tuning, capacity planning, and security enhancements, to maintain high levels of service availability and reliability.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to provide real-time visibility into the health and performance of our systems.
- Release Management: Contribute to the deployment pipeline, assisting in the automation of releases, and ensuring that updates are seamless and non-disruptive.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance, support, and expertise on system architecture, reliability best practices, and infrastructure optimization.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, processes, and procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in managing complex, large-scale production environments for a minimum of 4+ years.
- Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting is highly desired.
- Strong experience in provisioning and maintaining virtual machines
- Strong programming skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby, with experience in automation and scripting.
- Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system performance optimization.
- Experience in Bash scripting, Grafana/PMM, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, DigitalOcean
- Experience in Databases (preferably MySQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You like working in an autonomous environment.
