Imagine leading the team of talented maintenance professionals who perform the critical work of ensuring Granger's Lansing fleet goes out on the road each morning in the best possible condition. As the second shift Maintenance Supervisor, you can take pride in doing just that. Shift: 1 pm to 11:30 pm (may vary based on shop needs and some Saturdays)
Success in this position includes the following:
- A well-run second maintenance shift that sets our drivers up to successfully service our customers with properly maintained equipment every morning
- Leading by example with actions and words that reinforce Granger’s core values of safety, customer service and care for our workforce
- Clear direction and focus based on well-defined goals, quality relationships and ongoing communication between departments
- Continued development for the maintenance team
What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or equivalent in related field preferred
- 5+ years prior experience supervising a successful team in a shop environment strongly preferred
- Diesel and heavy equipment maintenance knowledge a plus
- Prior experience with a paperless shop environment a plus
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel and Outlook helpful
