Maintenance Supervisor (Nights)

The Opportunity
This role will organize, schedule and assign all work to be done on production equipment, including daily, monthly, semiannual and annual rebuilds, work closely with the production management and maintenance personnel to ensure that the facility is up to the required standards, coach and develop the Maintenance Technicians, identify and implement process optimization projects in the safest and environmentally friendly manner possible.
This permanent position will report to the Maintenance Manager. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following.
- Maintain and service a variety of plant equipment & facilities
- Coordinate plant outages and upgrades .
- Plan, assign and direct work of employees and provide performance feedback addressing any complaints, resolving issues and appraising performance(s).
- Comply with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates.
- Responsible for creating, modifying, deleting, (managing) work orders in the inventory management system SAP.
- Responsible for work order disbursement and completion.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Associate's degree in maintenance or related field; or a minimum of 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of TMP or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- SAP experience (or similar) is preferred but not required.
- Provide leadership to others through examples and sharing of knowledge/skill.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiply projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to deal with a variety of concrete variables.
- Knowledge of safety policies, practices and procedures and ability to lead team to adhere to them.
