Job Description
A unique opportunity exists to join our team to use your skills and experience in the rapidly growing healthcare and personal safety industry. We are seeking an eager learner and self-starter to assist with small package and palletized shipments, product returns and refurbishment. You must be comfortable in a dynamic environment and be able to manage multiple priorities. You will be responsible for using computer systems to receive and process material. You must be able to work under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage a small warehouse, using good inventory practices
- Manage inventory levels and keep quality standards high
- Gather product and ship against Sales Orders (small package and palletized)
- Product receiving
- Product returns and refurbishment
- Follow process documentation; escalate issues to management
- Practice safe material handling techniques, maintain a safe and secure work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- Basic computer skills – email, Microsoft Word & Excel
- Experience with warehouse and shipping systems (ERP, FedEx, UPS)
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Driven to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
- Organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work with little supervision; self-directed
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 lbs.
