Caregiver needed Tues, Wed, Thurs 8am-12pm in Sterling

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire a skilled Caregiver(HCA) to join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home. We have immediate part-time positions available. There are also other shifts available and flexibility with schedules. Come in and join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home. We have a client in Sterling with dementia. He was sick before new years and it set him back physically. He is in bed most of the time, we are helping him sit up, giving him meals, changing him and being company to him. He does live with his wife, but she can't do any of the physical needs. Very nice couple.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)

Ambulation/Transfers

Eating

Dressing

Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.

Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom

Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):

Medication reminders

Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises

Measuring and preparing special diets

Understanding dementia care

Incontinence care

Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age

Current Live Scan (FBI and DOJ)

highschool diploma or equivalent
