Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and well-organized individual to join our team. As the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving and distribution of goods in our warehouse. Your role will involve coordinating shipments, verifying incoming and outgoing products, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Requirements:
· Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
· Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred, but not mandatory:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment
· Proficiency in using computers for inventory management - Ability to operate forklifts or reach trucks safely (valid certification preferred)
· Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
SEASONAL DUTIES:
Receiving:
· Review documents and verify the product being delivered.
o Potato Seed
o Packaging Material
o Pallets
o Other materials (tape, labels slip sheets plastic wrap)
o Packing House Equipment
Shipping:
· Coordinate with the Manager and CEO to identify priorities to develop a plan to ensure smooth operations.
· Use pick tickets provided by broker to fill order
· Verify the correct products are leaving the farm.
· Verify that products are in the correct packaging.
· Providing Bill of Lading information to the office.
Other duties:
· Provide daily inventory of products in the cooler.
· Coordinate with USDA inspectors when a shipment is leaving the country. Provide samples for inspections.
· Verify information being printed on the labels for products is correct. (Lots #’s Fields etc.)
· Inform management when supplies need to be ordered. (Chep pallets, white wood
pallets, shipping tape, shrink wrap, slip sheets, labels, and ink, etc.)
· Report to management any concerns that affect your work area.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
