What will you do as a Shipping Coordinator?

The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for managing the material and operational process flow in the Shipping department, which is related to the Planning functional structure.

Supervisory Experience:

• None

Core Responsibilities are:

• Perform routine counts of warehouse stocks and keep track of them.
• Ensure the movement and proper placement of incoming materials in the warehouse.
• Actively use the ERP system to complete ERP processes in accordance with standards.
• Actively participate in Kaizen activities.
• Maintain order and tidiness within the scope of 5S in the assigned area.
• Prepare shift schedules for shift workers, ensure their punctuality, and monitor their attendance.
• Verify the timely and accurate loading of packages onto transportation vehicles.
• Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure timely and complete final quality inspections before loading.
• Keep and communicate material invoices and delivery notes to the relevant manager.
• Prepare production warehouse entry and exit documents, as well as shipping documents.
• Keep track of and examine new methods and developments in their area of expertise, and present those that can benefit ELIN ENERGY LLC to their supervisor, while contributing to the team's development.
• Timely and accurately fulfill the expectations of the supervisor regarding feedback, reports, and information.
• Perform other tasks assigned by their superior, based on the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for similar job profiles.
• Carry out business activities in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 1+ years of related work experience in shipping.
• Use of hand held RF Gun experience a plus; not required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (pounds) as required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be PC literate (MS Office) and have strong data entry, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal with strong business acumen.
• Ability to operate Barcode printers, handheld bar code scanners, high-speed/moving object scanning devices.
• Prior experience operating WMS systems.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• General problem solving/analysis capabilities.
• Possesses attention to detail and thoroughness.

Education and Experience:

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of shipping experience.

We are a 24-7 production facility; we are looking for team members to be flexible and able to work the shift they commit to.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
