We are looking for Shipping Coordinators to join the 1st shift team of an innovative radiation therapy device manufacturer headquartered in the Madison, WI area! As a Shipping Coordinator, you will monitor the physical preparation, staging, and logistical movements of materials on a global scale.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible start between 6:00 am and 9:00 am (8-hour shifts)
• Pay rate: $23-25/hr
• Will work out of the Middleton, WI location

Responsibilities:

• Create and provide logistics documentation for timely and accurate import/export shipping
• Ensure proper coding and harmonized coding of freight to ensure accurate customs clearance and minimization of duty payment and furnish all necessary paperwork to the appropriate parties
• Pick and pack finished goods for outbound shipments
• Pack service spare parts for distribution
• Communicate and coordinate with transportation companies
• Handle routine questions and problems, maintaining open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle
• Log order information into shared databases
• Maintain shipment records and generate departments
• Follow EHS compliance and quality systems requirements
• Provide support for offsite inventory storage, movement, and replenishment including deliveries between warehouses as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• 5-8 years of experience in logistics with shipping, receiving, stockroom control, shipping documents, and computerized inventory system
• Understanding of international shipment preparation
• Experience with safety, health, and quality systems (OSHA, FDA, and ISO)
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work a physically active position requiring climbing of ladders, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Forklift or pallet jack operation training/certification preferred
• SAP experience is a plus
