Job Function:

• Inspect and verify shipment contents against records within 24 hours for accuracy.
• Maintain 98% accuracy in logging shipment details for recordkeeping.
• Prepare routing documents for material shipments.
• Promptly resolve shipment issues, like damage or non-conformance, within 24 hours.
• Pack and label shipments with 98% accuracy and arrange deliveries with carriers.
• Deliver materials internally, adhering to safety standards using the necessary equipment.
• Manage inventory of shipping supplies, ensuring weekly stock levels.
• Opt for cost-effective, eco-friendly shipping methods and coordinate truck schedules.
• Calculate shipping and storage costs with high precision.
• Oversee and develop shipping staff to meet organizational standards.
• Audit and adjust inventory weekly to minimize discrepancies.
• Address damaged goods quickly by recording or returning them within 48 hours.
• Daily clean/maintain equipment and storage, ensuring safety compliance.
• Keep accurate daily reports of inventory levels, shipments, and usage.
• Perform maintenance checks on forklifts, prioritize safety, and foster teamwork across departments.
  Basic requirements:
• Forklift certification, required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination.
• Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with shipping and receiving.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and equipment maintenance checks.
• Willingness to work various shifts, overtime, and address problems within set timelines.
