05/30/2024The Appleton Area School District has a 0.40 FTE (40%) Youth Apprenticeship Coordinator position available beginning with the 2024-25 school year.
Certification Requirements: Family and Consumer Education (1210) or Technology Education ( 1220) also requires CTE license.
Position Details:

• Provide onsite consultation and/or virtual support to students and staff throughout the school year to support program success and requirements
• Address inquiries related to program questions and qualifications with potential YA students, YA parents/guardians and YA employers
• Provide hands-on assistance for students and parents with the required online application and enrollment process
• Seek employer partnerships aligned to YA student career goals and advocate for students that meet employer expectations
• Provide classroom presentations on Youth Apprenticeship options during the school day for students when applicable
• Support students with job-seeking and job-preparation resources Aid with coordination of student interviews as applicable based on employer requests
• Verify enrollment rosters within specified timelines
