Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our shipping area. The ideal candidate will have experience with computers, shipping software, internet, Microsoft software, packaging, receiving material and stocking.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders
- Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Pack orders and prepare for shipment

- Prepare all Packing Lists, Labels and Bills of Lading
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Previous experience in a Shipping and Receiving role preferred
- Proficiency in using shipping software and the internet
- Ability to operate forklifts helpful
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling outgoing and incoming shipments
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
