SalaryJob Summary: Assure that the Shipping and Receiving departments operate efficiently and accurately.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive in all goods delivered to the bay area of the building
- Assure receiving paperwork matches actual goods delivered
- Distribute all goods received in to the appropriate department
- Give all receiving paperwork to the Accounting department
- Sort, count, and prepare goods received for reconditioning
- Package, label, and presort all goods produced for shipping
- Submit list of all goods to be shipped to the Customer Service department
- After sorting, load goods produced, as well as goods purchased, into sufficient shipping boxes for delivery to the customer’s location
- Label all shipments using software provided
- Clean tools produced to prepare for etching & inspection
- Etch the goods produced by Accuromm prior to the inspection process
- Assist in paperwork duties needed in the final inspection process
- Clean trays used for the production processes
- Keep area free of debris and sorted
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of current FedEx software
- Knowledge of world ship UPS software
- Skill to use a personal computer and business related software.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and 30lbs regularly
- Ability to read small faint etching on cutting tools
- Ability to stand 100% of work day
- Ability to communicate well
- Ability to work with or near thinners and or Acetone used to clean tools
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Equivalent combination of experience and education.
